Meet after school in the gym and we’ll decide on what games to play for the day. Dodgeball? Big Base? Spikeball? Floor Hockey? Invite friends and classmates to register and the choice is yours! Middle School students may walk out to the outdoor rink between WMS & WHS near the tennis courts after school to join. Students attending from other schools are welcome to arrange transportation and meet us at the rink. This program is supervised by CE Staff, Joe Duffy. Please note: *This is not a learn how to skate program.* Participants must bring their own
skates and helmets. Equipment WILL NOT be provided. *There will not be sticks/pucks allowed in this program.

After school floor hockey is a very popular after school program! Both boys and girls are welcome to register and play pick-up style floor hockey after school. Each day we meet new teams will be formed for floor hockey fun. Younger and older kids will be split up if numbers allow. Come to the gym after school, have a snack from 2:30- 2:45pm and we’ll start at Floor Hockey at 2:45pm. Students from other schools are encouraged to attend. Join us after school at The Garage & Bowl in Waconia for supervised open bowling. Both boys and girls are welcome to register. Basic instruction, bowling etiquette and safety will be discussed, however, the majority of the time will be spent bowling. Busing to St. Joes school (one block away from the Bowling Alley) may be available depending on the school your child attends. Please call Koch Busing for more information on this option, otherwise plan on arranging your own transportation. The fee includes Community Education staff supervision, bowling shoe rental and use of bowling balls for one hour each date. Ivan Woyno, CE STAFF, will greet those participants who take the bus at The Garage at 2:45pm.

Get ready to dash to the end zone with our high-octane, inclusive (everyone plays) Flag Football course. YEL’s Teach It, Practice It, Play It® approach teaches players new skills each class, practices those skills in kid-friendly games, and then encourages students to use those skills in non-contact flag football games.
