Snowmobile Safety

The Department of Natural Resources, sponsored by the Carver County Snowrunners, and facilitated by Waconia Community Education, along with DNR Certified Snowmobile Safety Instructor Scott J. Wakefield is offering the Traditional Classroom Snowmobile Safety Training for Students 12-15 years old. NO temporary Permits will be issued upon the completion of the class. After the registered student has attended all 3 night classes of 3 hours each and has successfully passed the Written Classroom Exam, and with successful completion and passing of the Off site Driving Test, parents are responsible to go online and register their student and pay an additional fee directly to the DNR to get their Snowmobile Safety Training Permit.
 
F-173: Tuesday, November 27, Thursday, November 29 & Friday, November 30th
5pm-8pm (All 3 days) + the off site driving test which is to be determined pending snow/weather. It will be a weekend date.

Register By: November 1st (IN PERSON ONLY at Waconia Community Education 7:30am-4pm, there is a specific DNR form that needs to be filled out.
