Waconia Youth Lacrosse Skills Clinic
10U-14U Boys & Girls The Waconia Youth Lacrosse Coaching staff conducts a clinic to help players learn critical fundamental skills to be successful in Lacrosse. Clinics are held on Saturdays at the Waconia Middle School Gym between 3pm-6pm. A final schedule will be made available to all registered families on 12/19/25.

Youth Lacrosse
The Waconia Youth Lacrosse Program will be participating in the Homegrown Lacrosse League. GLL offers three different league offerings. Players are not required to participate in all of them and can choose which ones to participate in based on their schedule.

Gear required for both seasons:
Boys: Provide your own mouthguard, helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, elbow pads and stick.
Girls: Provide your own goggles, mouth guard and stick.

Registration Birth Year Guidelines:
To register for an age level, your child's birth date must fall between the following guidelines
14U - birthdate between September 1st, 2011 - August 31st, 2013
12U - birthdate between September 1st, 2013 - August 31st, 2015
10U -birthdate between September 1st, 2015 - August 31st, 2017

Spring Youth Lacrosse
Registration deadline February 6
The Waconia Youth Lacrosse Program participates in the Homegrown Lacrosse League (GNLL) spring league program. Boys and girls teams play at neutral sites around the metro area on weekends, from early April to late May. Practices for the spring league Start April 6, 2026 and the first possible game weekend is April 11/12, 2026. This is a competitive league that requires travel to game sites. *Players who are registered for HS Lacrosse are NOT eligible to participate in this league.

Season Dates: April 6, 2026 - May 31, 2026
Practices: 1x per week during the week
Season Length: 6-8 games played on the weekends

Practices for the summer league start the last week in May with the first game dates starting the second week in June.

Summer Youth Lacrosse
Registration deadline April 10
The Waconia Youth Lacrosse Program participates in the Homegrown Lacrosse League (GNLL) summer league program. Boys and girls teams play at home and away matches in the months of June and July with an end of year state tournament the first week in August.Practices for the summer league start the last week in May with the first game dates starting the second week in June. This is a competitive league that requires travel to game sites. Practices are always held in Waconia. Games are played 1/2 home and 1/2 away at other club sites.

This league conflicts with other competitive traveling sports (baseball/softball/soccer) please review the schedule carefully prior to signing up.
Season Dates: June 1 - July 26, 2026
Practices: 2x per week during the week
Season Length: 6-10 games played during the week.
