Instructional League Softball - Grades 1 & 2

The instructional league is a coach pitch league. Players will get an information email from their coach after the coaches meeting has been held. Volunteer coaches needed: 2-3 per team. If you sign up to coach and pass a background check please plan on attending the coaches meeting. Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 13 / late Fee: $10 after if there is space available. All dates and locations are subject to change based on registration numbers. Kindergartners may play in the Instructional League if a parent is the coach. Sorry, we cannot offer a refund after the coaches meeting.

Ages: Grades 1 & 2 / 2023-2024 school year

Nights: Each Tuesday and every other Thursday night

# of Dates: 10 / Each night is both a game and a practice lasting 1hr

Pee Wee League - 3rd & 4th Grade Softball

Pee Wee is a machine pitch-to-player pitch progression league. We’ll start the season using the pitching machine and end with a few player pitch games. Players will be called by their coach for their first practice day. Coaches needed: 2-3 per team, if you sign up to coach and pass a background check please plan on attending the coaches meeting. Intro to Softball Pitching Clinic

Are you ready to pitch in a real game? Join us at this intro to pitching clinic to prepare for the player pitch portion of your season. Rain site is the Waconia MS Gym. Participants should wear athletic clothing, cleats, bring a glove, and provide their own adult/older sibling catcher.

Player Review: Players and coaches attend the player review on Monday, April 29, 6 pm-7:30 pm at the Waconia High School East Diamonds 3 & 4 (near the tennis courts.) Bring your gloves and cleats. If inclement weather the player review will move into the Middle School gym, bring gym shoes.
